TERMS & CONDITIONS

BY REGISTERING AND PAYING FOR ANY CLASS, EVENT, PRIVATE LESSON, OR OTHER ACTIVITY WITH MACAU GLEE CLUB, YOU ARE AGREEING TO ALL OF THE CONDITIONS AND WAIVERS SET OUT BELOW.

Release of Liability Agreement:

In consideration that physical activities such as dance and theatre may carry a risk of injury to participants, I hereby release Macau Glee Club and all its instructors of any liability whatsoever arising out of an injury, damage or loss which may be sustained during the course of involvement with any and all Macau Glee Club activities. This includes activities held in studios, in theatres, during performances or rehearsals, and during any activity sponsored, arranged or facilitated by Macau Glee Club.

Rules & Code of Conduct:

Macau Glee Club strives to be a positive, fun and welcoming environment for students and parents. In order for this to continue we ask that our students and parents abide by the following rules.

Students are expected to be well behaved and show respect and courtesy to their teachers and classmates.
The studio is not a playground. No running, or playing tag inside the studio. No pushing, touching, punching of other persons. Parents, we ask your co- operation in explaining this to your children and reminding them of the rules before entering the studio.
Should a student continually misbehave or fail to follow teacher’s instructions, the student will be cautioned in class, and if necessary the parent will be contacted and may be dismissed from the class for the remainder of term. Should this happen, we ask that parents respect the teacher’s decision. In some cases, the child is simply not ready for dance classes and we will be happy to refund the remainder of the term and welcome the child to try again the following term.
Parents and/or guests are not permitted in the studio without prior permission with the teacher. It is distracting for the students and teacher alike to have parents walking in and out of the class.
Parents are responsible for picking up their child immediately after their class has finished. Macau Glee Club will not be held responsible for students once they have finished classes and have left the studio.

Fees & Payment:

Fees are calculated for the entire term and are payable in full before or at the first class of term.

Refunds & Cancellations:

No refund of fees or make-up classes will be arranged for individual absences due to illness or vacation.
Macau Glee Club reserves the right to cancel a class if there are not enough students enrolled.
On occasions, substitute teachers may be arranged when the regular teacher is unavailable to ensure continuation of classes.
With prior arrangement, students may try out the first class before full payment. If you decide not to continue after the try out class, please inform us by email.
